Early June calls for a wardrobe reset. The heavy coats are finally gone, but the mornings still have that light-jacket edge. This week's five looks work with that in-between feeling — layerable, mix-and-match ready, and pulled from the same base pieces so you can swap freely across the week.

Look 1 — Coastal Minimalist

A white cropped tee under a loose cream linen shirt worn open. Pair with light-wash high-waist jeans, tan ankle boots, and fold your white cotton socks over the cuff. Finish with a woven tote — the beach-adjacent version of an everyday bag. Good for: brunch, a slow Saturday walk, farmers market.
Mood: clean, unhurried, effortless

Look 2 — Soft Y2K

Baby blue ribbed sweater with a pleated white mini skirt. White low-top sneakers, pastel pink ankle socks folded down — that's the whole argument. The silhouette is early-2000s but the color reads 2024 muted. Works equally well for an afternoon out or a low-key event where you want to look put-together without trying too hard.
Mood: nostalgic, playful, light

Look 3 — Vintage Casual

Faded black tee, straight-leg mid-wash jeans, and the suede bomber as the anchor piece — the one item that does all the talking. Black Chelsea boots keep it grounded. The whole palette stays warm-neutral so nothing clashes. This is the look for running errands that turns into impromptu plans.
Mood: worn-in, confident, no-fuss

Look 4 — Relaxed Streetwear

Sage green oversized hoodie over black wide-leg jeans. White chunky sneakers. Black beanie, folded. That's it — four items, zero overthinking. The sage-and-black pairing hits that sweet spot between casual and considered. Layer under a vintage jacket if the evening cools down.
Mood: understated, comfortable, easy

Look 5 — Dark Academia Lite

Dusty rose ribbed turtleneck, black midi flowy skirt, cognac leather tote, black beret. It's the genre's silhouette without the heavy layering — June-appropriate dark academia. The rose softens the black so it reads warm rather than severe. Heeled ankle boots for a bit of height.
Mood: quiet, intentional, scholarly-feminine

Mix & match across the week

These five looks share pieces freely:
  • The linen shirt from Look 1 works as a light jacket over Look 2's top on cooler mornings
  • The black Chelsea boots in Look 3 swap straight into Look 5 for a consistent footwear anchor
  • The midi skirt in Look 5 pairs with the Look 4 hoodie for a high-low combo
  • Hats — the beret and the beanie — are interchangeable between any of the quieter looks
Current season: early summer, Northern Hemisphere — light layers still valid through morning. Pack a hoodie or linen shirt; the afternoons won't need it but the 8am will.
